The FBI team arrived in Ottawa early in the morning. They went straight to work. Two team members rented a car and headed down to Quebec City to examine the bank records involved in purchasing the laboratory equipment. Juanita and the other agents checked out the Ottawa banks.
Looking at security footage confirmed that the same people were making the transfers, and doing so in person. The pattern was unusual since the same transactions could have been conducted electronically. Juanita had a feeling these people wanted to be seen. Something very sinister was going on here to mislead anyone following the money.
