Pythia POV:

Alley and Stephen were saying words to each other and I didn't have time to waste, I reached for my bag causing a little noise before I snatched my bag and threw it down at him, smoke quickly filled the air and screeches from those vampires rang out, what a horrible noise. I jerked my head towards Alley when they smoke started to clear, "Open the shield now! We have a few hours tops!" I yelled, I could see Stephen tense as eyes looked up at me "Jeremy now!" Alley screamed out and more growls around me erupted before s**t hit the fan, I jumped out of the tree as well as the others, I landed on the back of a wild looking vampire. I quickly pulled the stake from my boot and launched it in to his back piercing his heart. We fell to the ground and as I stood I looked around to see utter chaos. I ran to the closest thing I could get my hands on which turned out to be one of my own people, not that I knew him all that well. "Pythia you dirty b***h. Killing your mother wasn't enough?" Balton snapped. "No, I should have started with a rat like you." I snapped back "Balthakk!" I yelled and watched his body fly backwards. I stomped towards him only to be tackled to the side. I hit the ground first and rolled to the side, I stuck my hand out to grab on to the ground to gain some balance. I lifted my head to see two of the most ugly looking vampires I think I have ever seen and Balton. They tried to circle me but I back away to keep them all within my line of sight. The last thing I needed was for one of them to get behind me.

Alright three on one isn't exactly saying my odds are the best but it'll be hard to take me down. Balton smirked at me, "Insigna"! Balton shouted. f**k! I held my arms up "Seraphim!" I yelled portraying my own shield, Balton took a step back eyes wide. "How?" I smiled and tilted my head to the side, before I could say anything those damn dirty vampires bum rushed me. I dodged one fist only to be hit in the rib cage by another. I felt the air leave my body for a split second. I hunched over to grab my take connecting it to ones chest, the other screeched and went in to a frenzy. "Insigna!" I shouted and took steps backwards to watch as the vampire came to life in flames. I ran towards Balton who tried to run away from me. "Oh no you don't! Sheol!" I shouted. His body fell to the ground as the shackles wrapped around his body and tightened until it dug in to his flesh. He screamed in pain but I didn't care, he turned on his own coven for power he knew would kill us all. I walked away from him just as the shackles tightened hard enough to rip through his body and pieces of him laid everywhere. I scanned my surroundings I noticed one of the Lunas was being backed in to a corner. s**t what was her name? She was using fire, Emma! That was her name and I needed to help her, I quickly teleported to her side. "Pythia! Thank goddess, I could use some damn help." She grunted out.

"Well good thing I seen you then." I replied setting my eyes on the ones who stood in front of me, Emma kept backing them up but slowly we were getting surrounded. An earth shaking growl erupted and a huge wolf tore his way towards us. "Devin! I told you to get out of here!" She shouted at the large wolf who growled at her. "Fine whatever just don't get burned." She snapped. "Balthakk!" I roared shoving all I could back. Emma shot fire everywhere while her mate tore through anything that got close to her. We were being outnumbered and I can't afford to die, nor have an alpha and luna die. "Emma you and your mate get out of here now!" I shouted. "Not without you! You can't stay here by yourself!" She yelled back. "Fine, I have a blinding mist, once it is in place you need to burn them all with me understand?" I said stepping closer to her. "Yes that will be perfect! Devin get your ass over here!" She yelled, the overgrown wolf huffed at her but listened. I took a deep breath before lifting my arms. "Munnopor!" I roared, watching the mist ooze out like fog. I looked around to see all their eyes had glazed over. "Emma now!" I said, her eyes swirled red and in the blink of an eye fire was rolling off of her as if she was an angry fire. "Now get out of here!" I said running in another direction once bodies started hitting the ground.

The moment my feet started to gain some traction I heard hissing from behind me, I didn't have time to come to a complete stop, I looked over my shoulder to see a new born vampire hot on my heels, I honestly don't have time for this I needed to make sure the others were doing okay. I reached down in my waist band and grabbed the knife that I had tucked in there and quickly threw it behind me. I heard screeching before I heard her body hit the ground. I turned back around to see she was lifeless so I snatched the knife from her chest and kept running. Everything was so chaotic and I could see the rogues had started filling in the empty spaces protecting a lot of my witches. I could see Lillith just ahead of me and she was starting to be ganged up on. Just as the first vampire lunged at her I met the second one half way taking him by surprise, not giving him a chance to move before I dig the knife deep in his chest, his body jerked under me and I quickly pulled the knife out and got to my feet to see Lillith had snapped the others neck. "Are you alright?" I asked quickly. "I am fine, thank you." Lillith replied a little out of breath. I heard a few growls behind us and I turned to see two wolves were running towards us. "Stay with her!" I said as I started to run in another direction.

This is madness, absolute madness. I felt the sudden pull to a specific direction, my eyes scanned around before a smell hit my nose. What is that? It smells like a lake that you would find in the meadow on a warm spring day. Where is it coming from? Why is my sense of smell acting up like this? I was so lost in my train of thoughts I didn't see the knifes that were launched in my direction. One scrapped my arm while the other firmly planted itself in my leg. "AH! f**k!" I screamed and stumbled looking down at the knife. Son of a b***h. I looked up to see a dark witch I didn't know running full speed at me. I tried to get to my feet but i wasn't fast enough, before I knew it we were both on the ground. She flung her fist down at me and connected with my ribs and I heard them c***k. s**t. I have to get this f*****g knife out of my leg. She delivered hit after hit, each I blocked barely. I reached down and grabbed the handle of the knife and in one swift pull I ripped it from my leg with a grunt and grabbed her by the hair pulling her to one side while I dug the knife in her neck. She fell to the ground easily and I ripped the knife from her. I stood to my feet and felt the same pull. What the hell is it with this stupid pull? It felt warm and safe. I needed to find where it was coming from but I needed to put something over this gash in my leg.

I used my hand to cover the hole in my leg while I looked for the closest spot to tuck myself away in. I seen a house not too far in front of me and as fast as I would have liked to move it just wasn’t happening. I was losing blood quickly from my leg and it was throbbing. I kept my eyes on the house but scanned around to make sure no one would sneak up on me. Just as I got mere yards away from the house fire shot in front of me making me snap my head the direction that it came from. I quickly took note that it wasn’t directly aimed at me, it was just being thrown around so I looked forward and pushed my legs as hard as I could. I crashed in to the house and used the outer walls as support and took a deep breath.

I placed my back against the wall and pulled a safe kit bag from my bra. Somehow I knew I would need this. I pulled the herbs out and placed it over the hole in my leg. I waited a few seconds and it finally stopped bleeding and the throbbing went away, thank goddess I thought of this. I took a deep breath before that smell hit me again but this time it seemed a lot closer. I have got to figure out where this is coming from so for once I followed my nose and ran around the house. I could hear screeching and growling, as soon as I turned the corner a large brown and black wolf came in to my view and he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I watched as he tore his was through a small crowd of vampires, he hasn't yet looked up at me but there was something about him. He was massive and stood taller than me and I am nearly six feet. I realized I stood there like a love sick teenager. He was slowly being out numbered, then I heard him yelp and his left back leg lifted off the ground. f*****g vampires I swear. I ran forward incredibly mad that he was injured. I saw two dark witches creeping up from behind and I couldn't allow them to throw whatever that bag was at him. "Sheol!"I screamed but I only hit one. She fell to the ground quickly as the shackles wrapped around her legs and arms. I wasn't going to make it in time by foot. Just as the male jumped I teleported and clashed with him midway in the air.

I landed on my back bumped in to the large wolf. He turned and growled, "Don't you f*****g attack me!" I roared out as I dodged fists reining down on me. I didn't have time to focus on him, I needed to look for a weak spot or something I took the palm of my hand and flung it in to his upper chest sending him backwards and off of me. I jumped to my feet and took a few steps back not realize this killing machine was so close. I bumped in to him again but this time he didn't growl at me. As soon as the dark witch stood to his feet his look was murderous. "Insigna!" I rasped out. His eyes widened as his body went up in flames. I honestly should have learned other spells before this. I should have thought this through better, like maybe took a few more out so we didn't get surrounded. The large wolf started backing up and I stumbled. "Hey! I'm back here you big dog!" I snapped as I elbowed him in the leg. He growled in return and I rolled my eyes. I don't know what that means. He kept backing up until he stood over me. What the hell is he doing? I took a step to the side to get out from under him and he stepped with me growling. Okay maybe he needs me to stay still which gave me an idea. "Hey uh- wolf man listen to me. Can you hear me?" I asked in a low voice. He growled in return which gave me my answer.

"I can make them all sleep but you gotta keep them back okay?" I said. He huffed and I don't know why I thought that was so cute. I stuck an arm out from under him and concentrated. I took a deep breath, "Morpheus!" I grunted and almost instantly they fell to the ground. I knew I couldn't keep any of them alive, "Ingsigna." I whispered. The large wolf stepped away from me and I got a look at his piercing green eyes. They nearly matched mine. He licked my face and I couldn't help but run my fingers through his fur, he is so soft and beautiful. "Pythia! They are throwing poison smoke! We don't have an antidote for that." Lillith yelled out running towards me. The large wolf growled and I held my hand up. "Make an antidote in the woods quickly!" I yelled back, I turned to the wolf and looked in his eyes. "I don't know who you are or why I feel a certain why but we can't just sit here and stare at each other. After this battle I will get to know the human side of you. You seem very special to me all of a sudden." I said smiling at him. He truly was breathtaking. Before I could run off he barked at me. Actually barked at me. How adorable! "I can't communicate with you in wolf form but I need to go." I said giggling. "Pythia, Alley is calling for you. It's Jack. He has been hit with the poison smoke!" Lilliths voice rang out.

Shit I know Jack is her guard and if he went down then that is not good. "Look I really need to go and help Alley, I am sure I will find you again soon okay? Stay safe." I said smiling at him before I ran off. I heard him whimper as I ran off but I couldn't stay to talk to him right now and as I ran farther away the more sad and empty I felt inside. I'll have to figure all of this out later right now Alley needs me and I fully intend on getting to her and saving Jack....
