LYDIA'S Pov.

    "After the incident at my parents place i went home, got into the shower letting it flow over me as I cried my eyes out. When there were no more tears left to be shed I took a proper bath and got dressed. Immeditaly I was done the car that was to pick me up arrived. I tried to hide the fingers on my cheek but couldn't so just let it be. Got into the car and it about an hour we arrived the private airport. I alighted from the car and got into the jet where I was being greeted by a hostess." The hostess led me to a seat beside my boss but I just greeted him and sat somewhere else thou I could feel his stares."

"Few minutes the pilot announced it's time for take off. Some minutes passed I could still feel him staring at me then he spoke up."

"Lydia who did that to you?

"I was startled but responded without looking at him "

"Did what sir I asked?"

"Don't play dumb with me. Who hit you?"

"I was surprised he noticed guess that's the reason he has been staring at me all this time so I looked at him only to see an angry Donald which scared the hell outta me.

"It's no..t..hing sir." I stutters.

"He wasn't satisfied so he kept on."

"I won't ask again. What happened?"

"I didn't respond which I guess pissed him off then someone suddenly pulled me by the arm I looked up to see Donald fuming with rage . He pulled me further into the jet tried to resist but couldn't cuz he was stronger than I am. He kept pulling me till we reached a door. He opened it, got in pulling me along then shorting it closed and slammed me against it but gently while holding both of my arms.

"I said who did this to you?"

"He spoke-yelled but now I was really scared cuz never seen him this way before."

"Answer me damn it."

"I couldn't hold it anymore he was now hurting me by his strong hold on my arm so I decided to let it all out."

My mum my mum ok.... couldn't hold the tears so I break down and started crying as his hold on me got weak then he said with a calmer voice."

"If you wanna talk about it am here ok.."

"Ok. I replied in between my sob's then he did something unbelievable. He hugged me while saying soothing words to me as i cried myself to sleep."

"I woke up and found out that am no more in the jet's bedroom rather in a suit but how did I get here then I gasp as I remember what happened in the jet. Did he carry me here or did someone else do it?.......I got out of bed saw my luggage placed on the sofa so i went in for my bath. I was almost done when I heard a knock on the door I hurriedly dried myself up before rushing to get the door. As I opened it the handsome face of Donald was staring at me then I sensed he is acting strange.

"Ummmmm... I wanted to know if you will join me for dinner?

"Sure I will get dressed and meet you there in five." With that he left as I closed the door looking for what to put on before I came across a red sexy off shoulder gown. Since I bought it I have never won it so I decided to put it on. After dressing I applied some make up but not too much to look like a slut just enough to make me beautiful. I headed down to the restaurant where a hostess approached me and I told her I am here to see Mr Donald Williams she immediately directed me to his table so as I walked a little distance, I could see him reading something the menu I guess. As I was almost there I saw him  looked up from the menu and was staring at something or was it me I asked myself but when I got there he didn't even notice my presence as he kept on staring at something or maybe he had spaced out so I waved my hand to his face to bring him back to Earth which was successful."

"Hi I said."

"Hi so can we order now? He asked. I nodded as we placed our orders and in no time our food was served. We ate in total silence as only our cutleries could be hard but then my phone started ringing I looked at it , it was a strange number but wanted to know who it was so I answered it."

"Excuse me I will have to take this. Helloo.....

"Hey there beautiful."

"OMG I know this voice  no it can't be."

"Sam.......wait am I dreaming?"

"I Screamed gaining the attention of those in the restaurant."

"Hahahhahaha You ain't dreaming beautiful. Missed you."

"Missed you too. Where on Earth have you been where did I go wrong?"

"Am sorry lost my phone and all contacts so how are you doing beautiful?"

"Am doing fine where are you I want to see you."

"I know you traveled beautiful 

"Wait does that mean you are ." I gasped at the realization as I screamed getting an angry stare from my boss which I composed myself immeditaly."

"Hahaahhha yes beautiful I am."

" Just don't go anywhere please I will be back after a week don't go anywhere please..."

"I won't I will be here waiting for you okay..."

"Okay cuz we have a lot of catching up to do will call you later love you Sam."

  "Love you too beautiful take care bye."

  "Bye Sam."

  "I finally ended the call but didn't know how to get his attention as he was busy eating so I uneasily cleared my throat I guess he got the memo so he looked at me."

"Ummmmm....am sorry for that that was my.."

"He didn't let me finish as he interrupted."

" I don't wanna know who you were talking to but when next your boyfriend calls can you mind not create a scene?"

"Sorry"

"That was all I could say as I looked at the plate of food in front of me so we continued our dinner silently. After we finished our dinner I thanked him and left for my room. I got to the room then decided to call my Dad so I dialed Dad's number."

"Hello darling good you called how are you doing?"

"Am fine Dad. How are you how's mum?

"Darling am fine and your mum....... your mum is okay."

"Okay Dad.

"Darling can you not stay mad at your mum I know we have not been a good parent to you and trust me honey we do regret it. We know we neglected you as Lily was all we cared for but honey give us the chance to make it up to you yeah?"

"Okay Dad. I didn't know when I started crying but the tears just kept on flowing."

"So how is the US and yes did Sam call."

"Yes Dad he did and I am so happy he is back." I couldn't help but smile at the fact that Sam is actually back."

"Honey Sam is a good boy and I know how much he makes you happy why don't you consider him?"

"Dad we are just friends."

"And who said friends can't get married?

"Come on dad besides he hasn't made a move so what are you saying."

"I am saying that in case he does give him a chance ok honey?"

"Till then dad. Okay gotta go love you bye." I hung up the call as I thought of what Dad said so decided to grab something to drinks as I headed for the bar. I arrived the bar there I saw Donald and trust me he doesn't look good has he been drinking? I walked to him only to be caught off guard as he pass out but was so fast to catch him from falling. I pleaded with one of the bar's employee to help me bring him to his suit. He helped me all the way to his suit where I took out his room card from his pocket and opened the door he brought him inside and laid him on his bed I thanked him before he left. I removed his shoes and prepared him for bed but before leaving I mdae sure I placed some pills by the bed side with a bottle of water for him to drink when he wakes up to ease his headache From too much drinking. I sat on the bed staring at him while I flip my fingers gently through his hair. Isn't he just perfect but it is a shame he will never feel for me the same I do for him yes yes I am in love with this arrogant and cruel man thou sometimes he seems sweet but what can I do he will never fall for a girl like me so I got up wipe the few tears I shedded and left."
