Her Revengeful King

LYDIA'S Pov

  "After the incident which took place yesterday I decided to prove him wrong and went to work earlier than expected to put everything in place before his arrival."

"An hour later he came in and I immediately went to him  with a bright smile on my face and briefed him of his today's schedule showed him his coffee and left. I can tell he was shock by my reaction he was actually waiting for a pissed Lydia but I told myself I won't give him that satisfaction."

"I couldn't help but smile to myself while I was working on some files in my office. The day went well but guys you won't believe this arrogant bastard made me miss my lunch again. He left me with so many files to work on and by the time I looked at my watch lunch was over and  it was rather time to head home so decided to ask him for permission to leave earlier so walked into his office.

"Sir is it okay if I head home now?

"Without looking at me he replied

"Are you done with the files on your desk?

"No sir but first thing tomorrow morning I will

"He suddenly banged his table and started yelling at me. I stood there startled not knowing what I did to deserve such a treatment. After he was done I didn't even realize when I started crying but could feel the wetness on my cheeks which  I immediately rushed out of his office to mine."

"I came in sat and cried my eyes out before I heard a knock on my door asking the person to come in

"Hey Lydia

"Louisa said sitting on the chair in front my desk

"Hey Louisa am sorry your saw me like this. Is there anything you want to do for you?

"No. Am actually here cuz I heard him yelling at you earlier

"Immediately she said that the tears started following again

"I don't know what I have done wrong it's only few days and I feel I made a mistake taking this job why does he treat me this way what have I ever done to him?

"Shhhh cry no more it will be okay. You know he has a problem with trust and other stuffs but believe me with time he will adjust and you will be acustom to his attitude."

"I looked at her now sobbing and asked, was he the same with you when you came here?

"Yes he was but as you can see I became use to his attitude and am now fine."

" With that I wiped my tears." Thanks Louisa I really appreciate

"Your welcome. I will go ahead now see you tomorrow bye 

"Bye Louisa with that she left and I immediately got to work.

I managed to finish all the files and by the time I looked at my watch it was pass twelve now where on Earth will I see a cab?. 

"I took all the files to his office that night arranged it on his desk and left for home. Since it was late I was scared as the streets was empty and some areas dark. I removed my heels and walked fast as I felt like someone was following me. 

"Finally after an hour or so I arrived my apartment got in lock my door ran upstairs took off my dress and dived into my bathing tub with the warm water I felt so relaxed not forgetting the pain I was feeling at my feet.

"After a hot bath I wore my pajama dive into bed and drifted to sleep.
