Confusion

Kyles POV
"She's my mate and I rejected her." I said with my head down.
He froze.
The next thing I know, I'm on the ground being punched by my best friend.
I try getting him off, but he doesn’t budge. Damn his strong and that’s a compliment, since Alphas are supposed to be stronger. But I finally kick him off. He starts coming towards me, while shaking like he was about to go wolf, when my father stopped him with his Alpha voice. I winced and Reno flinched.
"Enough!" My father growled.
Dang, that must hurt Reno even more seeing as his a beta, but I at least have the Alpha gene.
"s**t dad." I could still feel my ears ringing.
He ignored me. "What the f**k is going on here!" Demanded Alpha Jack as he looked at Reno.
Shit. What to say, what to say.
"Why don't you ask your f*****g son!" Yelled an angry Reno.
“Hey now, language. His still your future Alpha.” My dad said, and Reno gave him a nod as an apology. My father turned his eyes to me.
I stood still. My father is going to kill me!
"Um well you se-" I started, but didn't get to finish, because Reno finished for me.
"This fucker right here rejected Marie as his mate, and she ran away!"
Marie’s father, mother, brother Zane and my mom Jane gasped shocked.
I'm so screwed.
'No you’re in deep shit.' Said my wolf chuckling darkly.
‘Shut-up.’ I snared at him.
'Whatever.’ He said but shut-up. I rolled my eyes at him, where no one could see, before I came back to reality.
My father looked at me. "Son, is this true?" He asked in a calm voice. Damn him and his calm voice. He uses it before exploding.
I looked down and answered him. "Yes, but..."
"But what? What made you do this stupid childish thing!" He yelled.
Marie's father got down on his knees. "My poor princess." Marie's mother June ran to him, putting a hand on his shoulder, while the other laid on her mouth still in shock.
"I don't know. At the time I thought that she was going to ruin my reputation and people wouldn't like or take me serious."
"Are you crazy!" Man his angry. He looked like he wanted to chop me to pieces. His face was red and his muscles were close to exploding.
I’m f****d indeed.
My wolf who usually hated it when people yelled at me didn't even stir, he only said, 'Serves you right.'
Great now my wolf isn't on my side either.
'I will never be on your side till we get our mate back and she forgives you.'
Mother freaking great.
"At the time I thought it was a great idea but I came here to apologize to her, but she turned out not to be here and Reno hasn't seen her since she said she was going to talk to her mate." I whispered the last part.
"We were all mean to her anyways, so I shouldn't be completely blamed for her running away." I added shrugging.
"Who was mean to my princess?" John, Marie's father asked looking up. He looked so broken.
I indistinctly looked at all the people that were mean to her, when I thought he wouldn't catch me. But he saw me looking around and must have followed my eye movements and put two and two together.
He jumped up and shrugged off his wife's hand.
Even though she started crying he didn't go to her, instead looked at her and his sons with disgust.
"You." He said pointing at each of them. "How could you do that! June! I can't believe you of all people would be like that! To your daughter!" He said pointing at his wife who fell on her knees and started crying uncontrollably.
"And you two!" He said pointing at Reno and Zane. "You guys are her brothers! I know a thing or two about messing with your siblings, but you guys went too far."
Zane and Reno looked away in shame. Zane looked like he was close to tears and Reno kept clinching his fists looking angry.
"We won't the only ones making fun of her." Zane said in a whisper.
His father looked at him in disbelief. "Won't the only ones?"
"Tell me their names and I'll go kick their butts." Everybody stood there speechless since they have never seen John so angry. "But you two! I'm so mad right now I could rip you to shreds! She is your sister! How could you let others make fun of her." He said shaking.
He turned to me. "She was your childhood best-friend, I should kick your ass." Turning around quick, he ran to the forest leaving everybody shamed even my parents who didn't do anything. I was ashamed for different reasons.
My mom turned to Marie's mom. "I can't believe you guys, especially you June. You had an amazing beautiful daughter!" she turned around and left calling to her husband to leave with her.
Before he left, he said. "Selfish bastards. You know your father and husband won't forgive you for this and won't talk to any of you till she's back right? And son? Very disappointed. You better hope when we find her, she forgives you or you're in deep shit." With that said he left.
Reno and Zane glared at me.
"Why are you two looking at me all mad? You were as mean to her as I was." I glared back at them.
Instead of saying something they turned and left separate ways.
I stood there for a little bit then left saying. "I'll get her back. I promise"
We all left June standing their crying for her husband and daughter.
I just wish they knew why I rejected her, but I have to get her back now and no one can know. Not even my wolf.
