Chapter 9 - Mysterious F

Raven's POV
They were still roasting Gin when Zack arrived and sat silently beside me.
"Why Gin? Have you already move on from her?" Jedde asked while sipping his beer.
Gin didn't answer. He just looked at him with cold eyes.
Tsk! Wrong move Jedde. You shouldn't open that topic. Everyone became silent. No one dare to speak.
"Nevermind, Gin. Cheers!" Jedde just said to ease the tension as he raised his beer for a toast.
"Of course Jedde. I've already move on from her. It's been a year you know, ” Gin said, faking a laugh and then drink his beer in one gulp. Tsk! We all know that he was just bluffing. We've known better.
Everyone abruptly stop when we suddenly hear a noise outside. It was like someone was banging the door with something.
"What's that?" Zero asked while his brows furrowed.
I stood up from my seat and turn to them. "I'll just check what is happening outside."
"I'll go with you, Duze, ” Zack said, standing, and then he followed me as I walked towards the door.
"Just continue what you're doing. We will take care of this, ” I said to them and they did what I say.
We were almost ready to open the door when suddenly we just noticed strange. There was something sharp that penetrated the door and then in a second, it was being pulled out from outside.
I turn my head to looked at Zack and I saw him looking at me seriously. I know he saw it too. I told him to get what we needed and he nodded right away.
"Just in case, Zack, ” I told him, seriously. "Don't tell them. Let me handle this."
He just nodded again as a response and then stride towards my bedroom.
I looked at them in the living room and saw Zero pestering Gin again. That's good. It would be better if they were oblivious about what was happening. I didn’t want them to get involved.
Damn!
Zack came back with the thing that I told him to bring. He also brought his own. I signaled him to be on my back while I slowly opened the door for us. I scanned the area first and saw no one so I got out first, and then Zack followed me after and then closed the door.
The moment the door closed, we heard something thrown from afar that startled both of us. We looked at the door and saw a knife pierce through it with a piece of paper. I pulled out the knife form the door and get the paper that was being folded and opened it while Zack scanned the area looking for the culprit.
Inside the paper was a note written in Chinese
.

My brows furrowed as I read the note. F*ck! Who the F*ck was F?!
Zack faced me and I let him read the note written on the paper.
"Do you know who the F*ck is F?” I asked seriously.
He shrugged. "No, Duze, ” he answered.
My eyes instantly move towards the back of Zack when I saw someone who was wearing all black abruptly ran towards us, holding a katana.
"Zack! Look out!" I pushed Zack aside when the man suddenly aimed a blow of his katana towards Zack. The blow that intended to hit Zack, hit me instead.
"F*ck!" I gasped as I felt the pain on the side of my abdomen.
I kicked the man to pushed him away from me as I clutched the side of my abdomen that he hit. I looked at it and saw the blood tainted my shirt and to my hand.
"Duze!” Zack shouted, bewildered.
"Locked the door from outside, now!" I ordered him. "You know the code, right?” He just nodded and ran towards the door and locked it.

My pad had double lock. It could be locked from inside and also from the outside. If you were inside my pad and it was locked from outside, you can't go out no matter what.
I didn’t want them to get involved and get hurt. We could take care of this since there was only one enemy.
It was a good thing that Zack locked it immediately because right now, we could already hear their shouts from inside.
"Duze! What's happening there? Why can't we open the door?” They shouted while trying to open the door.
I didn’t want to be complacent so I need to locked them to keep them safe. We still didn’t know who our enemy was.
"Dude,” Zack called me from behind.
I just looked at him seriously, telling him to back off because I could handle the man.

He just nodded again and stepped back.
The man lunged towards me this time with his katana. He swung it and tried to hit me but I dodged all of them. He kept on attacking me and I just kept on dodging trying to find an opening. I tried to ignore my wound but it started to make me spent. I think I'm losing a lot of blood. My wound kept on bleeding because I'm moving a lot to dodged his katana.
"Xiànzài sǐle!" (Die now!)" The man shouted as he attacked me in a fast speed.
I cursed when I saw his strike late and misstep myself. His katana grazed my cheek. I could feel it sting a bit.
"Ba!" (strike!)" he said when he saw that one of his attack grazed me.
I clenched my fist and turned to Zack a bit. The man attacked me again aggressively.
"Zack! Give me my Katana!" I shouted to Zack while still dodging the enemy's attack.
I saw Zack having a second thought to give it to me. Damn! I really need to use my Katana even if we were not allowed to use it. I didn’t want to die here!
"Duze! Zack! Open the door now! What the hell is happening there?" Seth shouted, banging the door as he was if trying to break it.
Shit! The man continued his intense assault. "Die now Rave! You must die!" he said angrily.
Ahh! Who the f*ck was this man?! He was giving me a hard time.
"GIVE IT TO ME NOW, ZACK! " I shouted again to Zack desperately.
He was still having doubt of giving me the katana but in the end, he still threw the katana towards me.
I caught it right away and hold it securely. Now. You'll pay with your fcking life!

Kaede's POV
I'm still think about what I read a while ago. Were they for real? They could really kill people?
I shook my head to make the thoughts that was running in my head disappear. I'm being imaginative again. And I always imagine the worst scenario. Jeez!
I just got home from Cassa Bar. I'm so tired and famish. I put my things on the coach as I entered my apartment. What a day! I badly need a shower.
I got inside my bathroom and took all my clothes off, and then turned the shower on.
Hmm. Trying to feel the warmth of the water made me relax a bit. I find myself humming a song. I put shampoo on my hair while still humming. Humming a familiar song.
I turned on the shower more increasing the pressure of the water to make the memory go away but it was still not enough.
*flashback*
"Shuō " Chii" bǎobèi! (Say "chii" baby) he said with a wide smile while he focused the camera on me. The sight of him this happy made me giggle.
"Chii," I said mirroring his smile.
"Hāhā! Nǐ zhème cìyǎn yǐwǎng rènhé shíhou dōu Eurielle." (ha-ha! You're so dazzling as ever Eurielle) he said with love and passion in his eyes.
His eyes! How I love his eyes, his childish grin and everything about him.
How I love this guy!
"Hēi! Lún dào wǒle." (Hey! My turn)" I said to him grabbing the camera and focused it to his face. "Shuō "
Chii!!" (Say "Chii" ) I clicked the button as he plastered his famous childish grin and I giggled again.
I turned my back to him and checked his picture. I startled a bit when I felt arms wrapped on my waist from the back. I smiled knowing that it was him hugging me from the back.
"Piàoliang, céngjīng quèshí." (Handsome as ever.) he said as he peeks on the camera. He leaned his head on my shoulder while hugging me.
"Shì shuí?" (Who?) I asked innocently and then he chuckled.
"Nà jiāhuo nǐ kàn, dāngrán." (That guy you're looking at of course.) he said and I felt his grin.
"Shì a! Méicuò! Ràng wǒmen pāizhào."(Yah! Right! Let’s take a picture.) I said excitedly.
"Dāngrán kěyǐ! Wǒmen gāoxìng de jìchéngrén." (Sure! I must please the heiress.) he said as he grinned wider.
Oh! I love his grin!.
On the same position, we took a picture of us. He released me from his hug and turn me around so that I could face him. Once our eyes met , both of us smiled happily.
He tucked some strands of my hair to my ear."Wǒ ài nǐ Eurielle." (I love you Eurielle.) he said and kissed the side of my lips. I just smiled. "Zhídào sǐwáng bǎ wǒmen fēnkāi." (Till death do us part.) he said as he held my face and kissed me tenderly, full of emotion, full of love!
"Wǒ tài ài nǐle, Xyus!" (I love you too Xyrus!)"
*end of flashback*
Those memories still lingers and my tears started to fall one by one as I remembered everything that we shared together.
"Zhídào sǐwáng bǎ wǒmen fēnkāi."
I cried my heart out. It's been a long time since I cried like this. My tears wouldn’t stop falling. I covered my mouth with my two hands to stopped my voice from sobbing. Why did it still hurt so much? I thought I'm already okay. I thought I already overcome the loneliness.
Why did you leave me?
Why couldn’t I forget about you?
Why did it have to end like this?
It was just me who was suffering.
