The girls spent the next two hours with Karen, talking and watching movies until they all slept off in her room. Karen had remained awake while they slept, thinking of her experience with Archer and all their discussion on their future and all. Then she thought about Ephraim; She also thought about her desire to wait till she had grown up some or married even before being fully intimate with Archer or anyone.
She remembered the last church service and the sermon and then the glow Ephraim had emitted when he came to see them. Such different boys she thought to herself. Both handsome: one a God man. And the other…well let’s just say Archer was yet to find God. She giggled.
