‘Hello…are you there?’ Karen asked puzzled, looking at the network signal bar on her phone, checking to make sure Ephraim was still on the line
Ephraim cleared his throat and spoke up. ‘What do you mean Karen?’ he asked in a low voice. Surely he couldn’t have heard her right? Getting married? To Archer? How? he mused silently
Then she told him everything that had been happening from when she saw Archer at the hotel lobby till date, not missing out any part. Ephraim sighed heavily. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Had he not prayed about this enough? Or had he played God inadvertently and put them both in jeopardy? He was shocked and very displeased with himself
