Chapter thirteen

Chapter Thirteen 

**A few hours and Many drinks later** 

I decided to have a few drinks, but I made sure I poured themself from unopened bottles only. I wasn’t going to risk any thing. Not saying I go to school with potential rapists, but I also don’t know some of the other people here, and given my history, I just want to be safe. 

I had started to feel all light headed and giddy, which told me that it was I’d had enough to drink and I was going to switch to water or soda. 

‘Oh Bellie, Why aren’t you drinking?’ Anna asked. I just shrugged it off, but when she went and got me what smelt like a double Jack and Coke, my ‘’shrug it off’’ attitude turned to annoyance. ‘Here, down it girl!’. 

‘Nah thinks, I’ve had enough’. But she wouldn’t listen, she kept trying to shove it in my face. 

‘Come onnnn, Party pooper’. I pushed her hand out of my face, spilling the drink a little. ‘f**k sake, look what you did?!’ I just rolled my eyes and stood up, moving to another seat, a bit further away from her. 

‘Are you ok?’ Raven asked. I just nodded. I guess she understood why I had changed from alcohol to some thing else. I understand Anna doesn’t know, but she shouldn’t be trying to force me to drink Alcohol if I don’t want to regardless. 

‘Yeah. I’m kind of not in the mood for this any more. Might head home’. 

‘I thought you were gonna stay’. 

‘I was but.. Just not up for it now’. We both looked over at Anna who has now turned her attention to a boy, who was clearly not interested. When she saw me and Raven staring at her, she came stumbling over. 

‘Got a problem with your eyeballs?!’ She was being extremely ridiculous. She had obviously had to much to drink. 

‘No Anna, go back to Jason’. Raven told her. I guess that was the poor boy's name. I couldn’t help but smile. 

‘What you smiling for? Am I funny to you?’ She shouldn’t even stand straight, she was swaying. 

‘No’. I went to leave again, but she grabbed my arm and started pointing her finger in my face. 

‘You know what Ellie, since you came home you’ve been weird, and now you are being weirder by not joining in on the PART-AAAAAAA!!!!!’ She was making a scene and people were starting to look at us. I could feel my heart beat starting to pick up. 

No, No, No Not here, not now. 

‘Anna, i have to go’. I turned, but again, she grabbed my arm and wouldn’t let me leave, I started trying to fight her off but her grip on me tightened. 

‘Anna, get off her!’. Raven tried to help, but even she couldn’t pull Anna away. 

‘No, Why is she such a freak now! She won’t even drink! Why!? We’re all thinking it, Like her freaking out at school! why!? ‘ MY breathing was deepening, and I could see by Raven’s face It was beginning to be obvious. 

‘Anna… let her go!’. 

‘No!’. I did the only thing I could think of, I balled my hand into a fist and swung it, hitting her in the face, shocking her enough for her to let go of my arm and I ran, i ran out the room and out the house, but I could hear her shouting as she followed me and in turn, I heard Raven and the other girls following her. 

I made it outside, but I was still having a panic attack and had to stop. I bent over, Placing my hands on my knees, taking a few deep breaths. Willing myself to calm down, but before I could, someone rand over and pushed me flying to the floor. 

‘You b***h!’. Anna screamed at me! I just laid there for a minute, hoping that seeing the relaxing night sky would relax me a little. 'Get up, freak!’. 

‘Anna, that's enough! Stop it, leave her alone!’. Raven defended me, coming to sit by me. ‘Are you ok?’ I couldn’t answer her, I was just focusing on the moon. 

‘What is going on?’ I heard one of my other friends ask, Which, Anna proceeded to give some bullshit that wasn’t true, but I’m sure in her drunken mind It was to her. I didn’t care. I managed to calm myself enough to get to my feet, with Rays help. 

‘Well, Why you such a freak now Ellie!?’ She screamed again, I looked around, luckily, it was just me and my friends out here. I looked at Raven, Should I tell them? I wondered and as if she could hear my thoughts, she nodded, telling me it was OK. 

‘I was raped’. I told them quietly. ‘In Hawaii, I met some one, he put something in my drink, drugged me.. And raped me’. 

‘Oh my god’. Sophie and Lauren came running over to me, wrapping me in a hug, followed by Raven. 

‘I..I didn’t know..’ Anna seemed to sober up pretty quickily. I just looked at her. 

‘I didn’t WANT any one to know. It was horrific and painful and I wanted to deal with it and forget it.’. She looked down clearly ashamed of her actions. 

‘I’m so sorry Ellie’. I didn’t even answer her, I said goodbye to my friends and left. The girls were my ride, but suddenly, the walked seemed good. 

Keeping my head down, I started the long walk back in to town...
