Chapter Twenty Four
Now things were fixed with Mike, I decided it was time to fix things with my friends. I’ve avoided them for long enough. I told Mike to drop me off a short walk from the school. I just didn’t want any gossip hounds to start spreading any rumours. I kissed him goodbye and told him I’d see him soon.
Once he left, I headed to Starbucks to get myself a morning iced coffee but as I walked in, I was met by my friends, sat at the table. They looked up when I came in but didn’t come over or even speak to me. I walked over to the counter and ordered myself a drink and big chocolate chip cookies for my friends. The guy took them over while a girl behind the counter made my drink.
