Chapter Thirty Five
I woke up in the morning and honestly felt like complete and utter s**t. I just wanted to get home and change in to some thing nice and comfy. I checked out of the motel and asked the person behind the desk where exactly I was. Imagine my shock when he told me I was in a different town. I had walked for hours and ended up in the town over from mine. It was a good hour’s drive away which would explain why it took me many hours to walk here. I was.. Somewhat impressed with myself.
He gave me directions to the bus station and I headed off.
With all the stops and waiting around, it took me over two hours to get back home. I was already tired and ready for a long hot bath to just soak away all my problems.
