CHAPTER SEVENTEEN Jordan Jordan’s day had been long and exhausting. She opened Slap Shot as usual, but by the dinner shift, Talia had called, begging her to close The Sin Bin for her. Emily had opened and Talia was supposed to close, but Talia had a sick baby Dakota at home. Poor Talia was desperate, and Jordan was happy to help. After her shift finished at Slap Shot, she scooted across the road to take over the reins from Emily. But as soon as Emily left, all hell broke loose.
