Today is the day that everybody was waiting for—the election of class officers. Many of our classmates wondered who would be the next class officers. Well, except for us four, everybody seemed so excited, especially Daenna.
For the past few days, Daenna had been eerily quiet. Except for throwing glares at me, she hadn’t spoken to me since her birthday party.
Skylar, on the other hand, tried for so many times to talk to me again, but I never really wanted to, so I avoided her most of the time. I was still disappointed with her. I trusted her and treated her as a friend.
“The chair will now open the floor for nominations for president,” said Mrs. Smith.
Dorothy proudly raised her hand and said, “Mrs. Smith. I respectfully nominate Daenna to be our class president.”
Mrs. Smith smiled
