Nix stood to his feet when he saw the two guards appear in front of his cell. He rolled his head from side to side, loosening the muscles as he waited for them to open the door to his cage. “Another day in court,” he sighed, as the guards prepared to enter. Loosening his shoulders, he held out his hands for the guards to put the cuffs on. His usually shiny long blonde hair was a tangled mess, something that would have driven him crazy just a few weeks ago, but he no longer cared. He would cut it if he had to, but his days of preening himself to perfection were over. All he could think of now was his family and former friends, which he had viciously betrayed, and his mother, whom he thought of every waking minute.
