Eilith’s POV-
It is the day after George’s funeral and the court hearing for Henry Wallis. I was able to lay eyes on the man who killed my parents for the first time in my life, and I have never felt such hatred for someone before. But now I can put a name to the face, his face seems to haunt my dreams. We got some terrible news this morning, that the judge decided to release Henry from jail, on bail, but he was supposed to wear an ankle monitor, and not supposed to go within one hundred feet of us. Something tells me that this will not be the last we see him. I could tell Matthew was concerned that he would come after us now that he has been released on bail.
