Chapter 134

1359 Words

Eilith’s POV- After Matthew helped me pack away my mother’s jewelry box, we returned to his office. While we were packing it away, Cameron and Rob were trying to locate a floppy disk reader. They are an obsolete piece of technology now, something my parents wouldn’t have known back then. It was one of the few ways to store large amounts of data. Memory sticks were becoming all too common, but there weren’t many that could handle vast amounts of data like they can now. So, I can only assume my parents chose to rely on something that was already becoming obsolete, because of the amount of data they had. It has now just come down to whether or not we can recover it. I really hoped we could. When we got back into Matthew’s office, Cameron was smiling. Matthew asked, “Why are you smiling?”
