The moment, Dylan was out of sight, leaving Rob and me alone at this café. I rested my elbows on the table, and buried my face in my hands, groaning. I hated that I was hiding all this from Eilith. But if she knew she had to be kidnapped just to get Evelyn a longer sentence in prison, she might very well agree. None of us knew whether she could act it. She has always been quite expressive with her emotions, especially around me. So, none of us wanted to take the risk by telling her the truth, even Kelly does not know the truth. Cameron did not want to risk her telling Eilith, and Kelly be angry with me, which I totally understand.
