Eilith’s POV-
I was awakened by a loud clunking sound, which almost made me jump out of bed. I instinctively reached out for Matthew. I realized his side of the bed was empty. There was a folded piece of paper on the pillow where he had been sleeping. I looked over at the time. It was 7:30am. Matthew said he was going to get up at 6am, so he must have wanted me to sleep in a little longer. I picked up the piece of paper and unfolded it.
It read: “To my sleeping beauty, I could not bring myself to wake you up when I woke up. You looked so beautiful and peaceful. Completely perfect. After our fun last night, I wanted you to get some extra sleep. I promised your grandpa that I would help him, so I got up early to go and help him. I will be outside, waiting for you to wake up from your beau
