Matthew’s POV-
Leaving the room with my mother did make me worry. I was worried that my dad would be too much of a hard arse on Eilith. I left the door open, so that I could hear them to make sure that he was not horrible to her. It was something my mother noticed me doing. She smiled happily when she saw me, as I kept looking back to where I had just left Eilith. We were only in the room next door, but I was really worried about being away from her.
She chuckled, “I have never seen you like this over a woman before. You love her, don’t you?”
I smiled to myself, “Honestly, I do love her. I hate being away from her. I think about her all the time. I think about a future with her all the time.”
