Matthew’s POV-
Our incredibly perfect weekend alone was sadly over. Eilith and I barely left the bedroom, but when we did, we enjoyed a nice hike and absolutely loved the hot tub. It was great to have some time to ourselves, to enjoy each other. We agreed we would have to do it again eventually. With our weekend getaway over, Eilith and I were heading back home. We were longing to see our son. We video called him once a day, and texted regularly to make sure that he was okay, and my mother was okay. We brought her a gift to say thank you for looking after him the entire weekend. We got a gift for Alexander as well.
