After the doctor left, Cameron opened the door a little. I guess he was coming in to ask if I was ready to see some visitors. Matthew told them to come on in. The moment Matthew said that, everyone burst through the door. I knew Cameron was here. I figured he would have called everyone. My grandparents, Kate, Kelly and Josh, all came in, rushing over to me, like they hadn’t seen me in months.
Matthew stood by my side, never moving, even when others tried to shove him out of the way.
