Matthew’s POV-
I watched Eilith finish the strawberry pavlova. It was incredible to watch the concentration on her face. After she finished, I helped her put it in the fridge, and clean it up. We started cooking the vegetables. Honestly, now that we were getting closer to my parents arriving, I was starting to feel nervous. I think I was more worried about how my father was going to react. Eilith looked nervous but seemed to be holding it together pretty well.
When food was about ten minutes from being ready, we went to get ready. I went first, because Eilith was worried about leaving the food unattended. She doesn’t want anything to burn, so I agreed, and left her to get changed. I didn’t want to take too long because I wanted to make sure she had more than enough time to get ready. I
