Eilith’s POV-
I woke up early the next morning, because I wanted to make breakfast for us, and then started making the meringue for the pavlova. I always make the meringue early, because it needs to be cool before I put the cream and strawberries on top of it. I made the meringue first, as Matthew wasn’t awake yet, and I wanted breakfast to be piping hot for us both. I also figured that when I made the meringue it would wake him up, as I had to use a hand blender to beat the egg whites into the meringue. I figured I could make breakfast for Matthew this morning, as he has literally done so much for me already. Making breakfast for him was something small, but it was the least I could do to thank him.
