Matthew’s POV-
The floor was really uncomfortable to sleep on, but honestly, I was happy to endure it to make sure Eilith was comfortable. I knew I was not going to sleep very well. I tossed and turned a lot while trying to fall asleep. Eilith seemed to sleep peacefully. At least, it meant she was comfortable in the bed, and that she wasn’t worried or stressing that I would try something. I knew I wouldn’t try anything, because I wanted her to be ready to accept me in every way possible. I finally fell asleep, after thinking for a while.
