Encounter With The [Sword Demon]

Woah after that fight didn't even have any rest. Tricon City has so many places to visit I guess I will someday take Gia out to show the city. For now, the best solution is to let her stay at home and learn some common sense from Mili(the little girl from earlier) and her mother. (Adel notices a commotion going around near the academy and goes to see what's it all about)

What's with this sudden commotion so early in the morning. I don't know maybe some celebrity came here, some bigshot F.F. maybe? As I started moving towards my academy I felt someone's gaze over me. Like someone monitoring my movements.

Could it be [Dictator] has sent his spies already to assassinate me? Oh my God what should I do, I can't show my powers in public. I should just escape from this place slowly and then go to an abandoned place to fight them.

(Adel moves to a junkyard outside of the city but he could still feel that someone was still pursuing him)Guess I have to fight, BRING IT ON! I can feel that they are coming closer. I should talk first"Do you mind coming out of the shadow sir? I am feeling uncomfortable with you following me."

I could see a person coming out from the shadow of a broken vehicle. A man in the age of mid-twenties, with beautiful shiny black hairs, wearing a chain and around his neck, an earring on the left side of the ear, holding a sword in his hand almost looking like a gangster came rushing towards me.

"Ability DEMON BLOOD activate!"

"Skill: Sword Force!"

Has this man gone mad using it on me?

Impulsively I used my ability to protect myself.

"Ability DYNAMIC CREATION Create- shield wall." (A white light glows and a force field is formed around him and it deflected the sword attack.)

"Everyone did ya all see it? He can even deflect my attacks at such an age with just a recent awakening. So, Mr Useless Hero, you are not so useless, right? I have finally found a gem this time. Hey, you join my team." I am just completely confused about what is going on now. I mean first, he attacked me and now he is asking me to join him!

"Well, sir, could you please explain to me what are you talking about? I mean I am just a useless hero, even though I have the title of HERO. What can you gain by taking me to your team?"I am sure he is just finding someone who could act as bait for monsters, while they kill them and level up.

"The reason is that everyone calls you useless, that's why I am inviting you to our team." I knew it he just wants a low-level tank to act as a meat shield.

"Don't get me wrong, I mean I was also once called useless because my ability DEMON BLOOD gives me extraordinary speed and strength and that's all nothing special compared to others who could even destroy a whole area with a swing from their hands. But what more is that I can't use it without a sword and my ability has a time limit. Well in this world swords are considered useless, so I was too, so I want to help people like me and help them reach on top."

I could feel the sincerity from his words like he wants to help people like him but what can I do I am overpowered and I can't let anyone find it before I get strong enough to defeat [Dictator].

"Well I understand sir but I can only work as a tank for your team. Is it okay with you? As for joining the team, I have to first know your team and you." Yeah I mean how can I trust him without knowing about him.

(Anyone could see the great determination in the man's eyes, his will to help others would what make him a great fighter.)

I am Velin Anora also known as [Sword Demon] and these are my friends [Twilight Witch], [Blazing Star], [Ghost Wind] and [Queen Ice], together we are called Great Five. "Wait what! he is [Sword Demon] and currently I am seeing the Great Five the group which slew a Mythical level magical beast Serpantius the ten-headed giant snake. If I work as a tank then I can easily hide my powers from others and no problem will be created and I can even reach on top like this. Great idea!!

"I can join your team, but under some conditions, I will just act a tank for you all and only in critical situations I will fight. Moreover, I will join your team but remain as an outsider, that means temporary member." If I job them officially I will gather a lot of attention, ok so I will be going for now to attend my classes.

"Ok but be sure to come during the recruiting event and I will accept all your conditions." Guess I will just go then.

"Wow did you see that Sword I even used a little intimidation on him using my aura but nothing happened to him at all and that shield wall, I haven't seen something like that from any person with creation like abilities? Moreover, I can't even check his rank and ability functions" a girl in white speaks.
