Seeing John, Sarah looked very uncomfortable. She was mainly worried what her dear Henry would think.

His mother glared sharply at her son. "We're not family anymore, why did you gather everyone together?"

"You're right, I shouldn't disturb your family dinner." John wanted to leave, but Gerry grabbed him again.

"Mom, sis, even though we're divorced, we're still friends! How can you treat my ex-brother-in-law like this? Look how pitiful he is, eating a 10 pound steak!!"

As Gerry spoke, he clearly winked at his family members.

Henry indifferently said, "I don't mind, I'm just wondering if Mr. John, used to 100,000 pound meals, can accept our simple fare."

"What!? John spends 100,000 pounds on a single meal!?"

Gerry looked very shocked, and a bit angry, as if the money had come out of his own pocket.

"Ah, you have so much money, you're too selfish! No wonder Sarah divorced you!"

Gerry tried to ease the awkward atmosphere.

As he spoke, he held Sarah's hand and gazed at her affectionately.

"John, don't worry, I'll take good care of Sarah, I'll make her the happiest woman in the world."

Gerry looked at him gloatingly.

When it came to despicableness, no one could match Henry.

Henry, you're too good at this! John must be fuming all the way home tonight!

But seeing the scene before him, John didn't feel angry at all.

Previously, someone had stolen his wife. Now someone was picking up the woman he had discarded - completely different emotional states.

John calmly said, "Yes, you must take good care of Sarah, especially in the coming days."
