Writer’s POV
Lily didn’t like being disturbed, especially not when she was finally getting a moment to think. Her nerves had been on edge since her last meeting with Berry. She knew she’s up to something and she’s hiding something but she couldn’t lay hand on what’s happening.
When she heard a sudden knock on the door, an irritation scoffed fell from her lips.
“What now?” she muttered to herself under her breath, pushing off the couch with a sigh. She opened the door and found her brother leaning against the frame, his usual smug look plastered across his face like he had nothing better to do than annoying her.
“You again?” she asked flatly like he’d see her brother dozen time today.
