Lily’s POV
Three days back.
Lily didn’t realize she was speeding until the tires skidded around the last corner leading to the pack house.
Her chest was tight. Her fingers clutched the steering wheel so hard her knuckles had gone pale. She hadn’t even stopped to grab her bag before running out of class.
She swallowed hard and pressed down on the accelerator.
There was only one place Berry would go now, somewhere she thought she’d be safe. Somewhere she still had power.
Somewhere like here. And the one person would’ve helped her was his brother.
She pulled into the driveway, the gate closed behind her with a dull thud.
