Writer’s POV After Tessa left her office, Juliana buried her mind in her work. Navigating through the keyboard on her laptop. Not even ten minutes passed before small footsteps echoed, she looked up to see Asher walked in, looking disappointed. He dragged his feet toward her desk, his bottom lip slightly pouted. Juliana paused her work and looked at him carefully, softening. “Tessa left too quick. Why?” he asked quietly. “She had to go back to school, honey. She’s busy.” She smile broadly. Asher tilted his head and stepped closer, resting his tiny hand on the desk. “She didn’t even stay to play.
