Tessa’s POV
The room buzzed with voices all around me, some whispering, others openly talking about the “new surprise” in the class head contest. It felt strange, hearing my name pass from one mouth to another like I was part of a conversation I hadn’t agreed to join. Though it’s not new but it felt strange now.
