I picked up the phone and looked at Caleb, "Should I make something up? " I asked, but the wolf shook its head. I guess he didn't want to add more lies to our growing ones. Lying is inevitable for people like us, in our industry, and with Caleb's identity.
The problem is, I don't know how long Caleb and I could hide the truth from Zeke. She deserved the truth if Caleb wanted to stay in their relationship, or both of them would get hurt in the end.
I turned his phone off instead after his response. This is my fault. Zeke would probably get more worried. I just hope she won't think of going to his house.
