Caleb’s POV
My whole body is still aching from the full moon or trying to delay the shift and pissing off my wolf. Zeke was still upset about her brother but Liam’s compulsion worked in a way this time. She wasn’t trying to think about him. I don’t know if this was the right thing or not, but I’m trying my best to console her heart.
But Zeke being aware of the bond really flustered me. I know that she wasn’t convinced by my excuses, but I couldn’t keep my calm at all. My wolf usually goes dormant after the full moon, but apparently, that isn’t the case now.
Tell her!
My wolf is literally screaming in my mind while Zeke and I talk. It got me struggling about how I would be able to come up with an excuse.
“I don’t see it as a bad ending.” I answered, this time, far calmer than earlier.
