What the actual hell.
Who would have thought that the answer to our questions was right in front of us? I had the chance to talk to Anne alone, the child of one of the victims that has a strange gift. Anne made sure that she would be able to talk to me as soon as she saw me again. The clever girl had already deviced a plan to make sure that her mother would have no choice but to leave for a moment, giving us enough time to talk.
She said that a strange man, just like most of what she had encountered in the past and different from Caleb, came to their house and “talked” to her mother and her even before the news of her father’s demise. The girl said that she had no idea then of what was happening, until she heard of what happened to her father.
It was pure torture listening
