Liam’s POV I gasped as I woke up. The lights on the ceiling were dim and there was a familiar enticing scent waffling around the room. I quickly got up and realized which room I was. So it wasn’t a dream… Master Keith really did save me. I touched my lips and confirmed my suspicion. He fed me his blood again. There were bits of blur in my memories. I remember arguing with Miguel, me taunting him so he could just hate me instead of holding on to the hope that we could be together when it’s impossible. It was much better this way. I prefer that I get hurt rather than anger my maker. I’ve seen him furious once, and I didn’t want that anger to be directed at me or anyone I care for. Keith entered the room shortly after I had woken up. I quickly lowered my head. I still have to be grateful
