And just like that… I’m back at school. It’s not the best place I want to be right now, but I promised Caleb that I would study and graduate. It’s not my best suite but I’ll try harder. It’s not everyday that a good Samaritan will appear and help me. I was desperate then, but I wasn’t expecting that they would actually accept me and even give me a place to stay and an opportunity to graduate.
Call it a hunch, but I also know that they would be able to help me. I’ve seen them going in and out of that building. I got curious and asked around.
Maybe it’s just because I was drawn to their nature of work but also because there was something about Caleb that I couldn’t pinpoint. But I know that I can trust him. Miguel wasn’t really welcoming but he wasn’t bad either.
