“One minute please. ” I said and checked my phone. Based on the notification, he was already calling for the 34th time. I braced myself before answering and received an earful right after I pressed the answer button and said hello.
“Where the hell are you? Do you really just casually forget that you have a phone whenever we have a case that is potentially life and death?! ” I pulled the phone away from my ear. I felt every braincell in my head get disrupted with his loud voice.
