Miguel's POV
It didn't take long before we could find information about the vampire thanks to Dexter. Caleb didn't say who the guy was, basically because we weren't ready with any excuse as to who this guy was and, thankfully, he didn't ask many more questions.
"This guy is dead." He mumbled and warily looked at Adrian, who was busy cleaning up the place as if it wasn't already clean. Great, now we can't talk freely because of that kid.
I just hope his showing off will last longer than a week or so.
"Yep, cause he became a vampire, duh." I answered sarcastically, keeping my voice down so as to not be heard by the new intern. I'm still not convinced that this kid should stay here, but I don't have the heart to push him away after knowing what happened to him either. I’m not heartless.
