Bernadette's POV
I quickly got away from her after hearing her words, “How did you know? What are you?” Vampires and werewolves aren’t the only supernatural creatures in the world. There were tons of creatures and most of them weren’t immortal, unlike vampires.
“Don’t worry, I’m human. I know what you are thanks to your stories in the past. You weren’t really good at making stories, you know.” She laughed at my flabbergasted reaction. Not many humans have knowledge about hunters.
“Don’t tell me…” It’s the only reason I could think of.
Her grin grew wider, “That I used to be a hunter like you? Okay, I won’t tell you.”
The surprise in my face grew far more than earlier, “And you didn’t even tell me?” I don’t feel betrayed, but if she knew what I am then she could have told me ages ago.
