"FAREED!" Noor shrieked as she stormed into the house, not bothering to take off her shoes. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"
"For God's sake!" he muttered under his breath, refusing to look up from the map. He was partly surprised that her voice could carry so loudly through the hallway, all the way up to his bedroom. Even before she reached him, he knew what had gotten her in a mood like this. And he need only wait for a few more seconds before she burst into his room with a murderous look in her eyes.
Sure enough, he heard her stomping up towards him bedroom barely five seconds later. Five more, and she was suddenly standing at the door, heaving in anger.
"Can I help you?" he asked without looking at her.
