"Cease looking at me that way this instant." he ordered. Feeling the heat rising to her face, Noor quickly averted her gaze. She couldn't believe she had been gaping at him.
"Welcome back." she said shyly, staring down at her feet. For some reason, the thought of her and Fareed alone in a room made her uncomfortable. She took a step back, not looking up at him.
"This is the first time someone has welcomed me into my own home." Fareed said quietly, folding his arms behind him. "I believe I gave you an explicit order not to do anything today." he said.
