Chapter 15Gage blinked his eyes a few times as he struggled to return to consciousness. He darted his eyes all around. He was still on Times Square, but only the buildings and vehicles were present. There were no people at all, except for him. He stood slowly in confusion. He had been to Times Square many times before, but it had never been so lifeless and quiet.
“This is so f*****g creepy and eerie,” Gage muttered under his breath.
He wondered where Calian and Flynn were. The lights were switched on everywhere and all the advertisements were playing on the screens, but the vehicles on the road were empty and stationary.
