Chapter 2“Yo, Gage!”
Gage, who was about to walk out of the classroom, turned around and looked at Jordan, one of his classmates and a fellow wrestler. “What?”
“Party tonight at Will’s house. Are you coming?”
Gage shook his head. “Can’t. Plenty of homework to finish before my classes tomorrow, and I also have a six-hour shift to get through, starting at seven in the morning, so I must be up by six-thirty at the latest.”
“That sucks, man.”
Gage shrugged. “Some other time. Okay?”
“Sure. Later.”
“Bye.”
