So my spell was so strong it even warded off other creatures magic. Not just the magic of a witch. It is reassuring that I am capable of protecting him that way. However fear skitters down my spine at the thought of him not being capable of going through the portal because of my protection spell. Then I would be alone.
I notice nearly everyone else has gone and Jayden walks through the swirling portal just as we make our way to him. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. I’ve never gone through a portal before but this definitely wasn’t what I imagined it would be. Their is no gap it’s almost like walking through a door.
