Alicia lost track of how long she stayed on the toilet seat. It turned out the bathroom was empty most of the time, except for the occasional foot traffic. It was a good place to hide if one wanted to be alone. And right now, she was the only person in it. The other stalls were empty.
She looked at her watch. It was three p.m. Goodness. She didn’t know she had been in the bathroom for that long. Then she remembered what had brought her here, and she put her head on her knees.
