Chapter 4 Blake could barely see the way ahead despite the efficient whoosh whoosh from his wiper blades—a never-ending stream of rain from bulging dark clouds beat down hard on the car’s windshield. Even though this type of weather in November wasn’t new, the intensity of the downpour was unusual. But the climate never seemed to make much sense these days.
