“Hey!” Alicia shouted out as her feet crunched to a stop at the beginning of the hospital entrance. It had been a while since she’d run this fast—apparently, she still had the goods.
She saw the driver turn to look at her as he stood beside his car. Other sets of eyes swung her way, but she ignored them. She probably looked a sight—that didn’t matter right now. She was only focused on getting the driver to apologize for splashing dirty water on her. The fact that he looked like he’d just stepped out of a magazine with his startling blue eyes did nothing to deter her anger. It seemed to fuel it instead. If he thought that looking like a six-foot GQ model gave him an excuse not to apologize, he had another think coming.
