Alicia stepped through the foyer of the Victorian brownstone that she shared with her two roommates, Dana Adams and Jasmine Banks. She loved coming home to this place—it was nestled in a quiet tree-lined street in one of the older sections of the city and was about ten minutes away from the hospital. Jasmine had advertised for a roommate on the internal online board the hospital created for incoming residents, and Alicia had responded to the ad.
