“She’s wonderful,” Blake said. They were standing in the hallway outside of Willow’s unit. “Thanks for letting me meet her. If not, I wouldn’t have known you are a scaredy cat around cockroaches.”
Alicia jabbed Blake in the side.
“Ouch! What was that for?” Blake doubled over, clutching his side. Suddenly, he leaned forward. “Is that a cockroach?” he asked, pointing at a corner of the wall.
Alicia shrieked, grabbing his arm. Blake burst out laughing.
“Blake, how dare you?” She was not amused. Blake took off down the hallway, laughing as he went. Alicia ran after him and tackled him.
