The rest of October passed in a blur. Most of Darcy’s time was spent doing homework or going to school, but she and Mark did find time to go out and do things. A week after going to the corn maze, Mark insisted they go dancing again, so she had agreed, a little less reluctantly than the last time. A few days later, they had gone to a haunted house that had scared the living daylights out of her.
