"Levi!" I screamed his name; a prayer on my lips. His head turned my way, away from the assaulting party. Fear raced across his little face, launching my heart into my throat. Christine was being hauled away from the slide by her hair. Her feet kicked furiously at the dirt, struggling desperately to get a good enough grip on it to break away.
